At this year’s Pro2Pac exhibition, Flowcrete UK will be showcasing its wide variety of flooring solutions that have been tailored to meet the complex challenges of the food and beverage industry Stand N730.
Centre stage on Flowcrete’s stand will be the high performance, polyurethane range Flowfresh, which is able to maintain a hygienic, slip resistant and easy to clean finish for an extended period of time in the face of factors such as steam cleaning, hot oils, blood, sugar solutions and extreme temperatures.
The Flowfresh range has been HACCP International certified thanks to its hygiene properties and every Flowfresh floor includes the antimicrobial agent Polygiene® – a silver-ion additive that is able to eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria.
Large-scale food and beverage facilities will more than likely need different finishes for different zones. The Flowfresh range includes a number of systems, which means that there is a solution to solve any flooring situation. For example, the thick and highly durable Flowfresh HF is ideal for intensive production areas while packaging rooms will benefit from a colourful and smooth Flowfresh SL floor.
Flowcrete UK has developed systems that can be rapidly installed despite tricky on-site conditions. This includes Flowfresh HF LT, which uses a specialist hardener to provide better workability in cold temperatures – a significant benefit in scenarios such as coating large unheated buildings or for cold room refurbishments.
At Pro2Pac 2017, attendees can talk to Flowcrete UK’s team about its ‘Complete Floor and Wall Package’, which allows developers and contractors to source each element of the floor build-up, including the resin finish, joint sealant, drainage, coving and wall coatings – all from one supplier.
