The Florida Beer Company recently installed multiple Flowcrete Americas flooring solutions in its brewery to transform its floor into a colorful, heavy duty, durable surface.
Situated in Cape Canaveral, Florida, the old site is steeped in history, having previously been a Chrysler building which had worked on NASA’s Apollo and Mercury missions, however it was in dire need of renovations.
In 2013, 35,680 barrels were produced in the 60,000 sq. ft. facility, where an incredible 28 varieties of ales, lagers, pilsners, porters, stouts and ciders are brewed.
Flowcrete secured the project despite stiff competition from multiple suppliers and it had to overcome various challenges throughout the installation process to ensure that the floor was completed on schedule.
On site Flowcrete’s approved applicator had to cope with no utilities, numerous holes in the walls, oil contamination and plumbing contractors that were putting in new trenches while the substrates were being prepared.
