We love a good flooring awards ceremony here at All Things Flooring! On the 14th June 2019, the red carpet was rolled out for the twentieth CFJ/CFA Awards, held at the Park Lane Hilton in London.
Hosted by Eddie the Eagle (Michael Edwards), the awards took on a new format this year, with the focus falling on installation partnerships between flooring contractors and manufacturers (and in some cases architects).
For the first time, there was also an independent judging panel deliberating over the rightful winners for all 17 categories! This panel included FM consultant, Fiona Bowman; architect, Simon Jackson; flooring contractor, John Butler; independent flooring consultant, Richard Renouf; and the CEO of CFA, Richard Catt.
