The time has come for you to have your say on what flooring innovation has most rocked your world – yes it’s the Tomorrow’s Contract Floors awards!
It might not have quite the same level of fame and glamour as the recent Golden Globes, but the annual TCF awards provides a show-reel highlight of the past year in the flooring industry.
Who will raise this year’s coveted TCF trophy?
Fifty products, ranging from LVT, adhesives, floor grinders, specification apps, resins and carpets are up for the coveted trophy. And it’s not just the new, but TCF makes sure to recognise some tried and tested solutions that flooring contractors wouldn’t be without.
Key criteria in the selection of the top fifty include innovation, ease of installation, safety, style and sustainability.
Among the selected finalists are a few products that have particularly caught our eye, including:
- Products that make life simpler are always a welcome addition to any toolkit. Haywoods has launched the Magna magnetic fit system to help provide access to underfloor services in multi-purpose commercial facilities.
- Mondéco Rapide, a PUMA flooring system that has come up a couple of times on Allthingsflooring, has made the shortlist. This fast curing product is able to create a decorative seamless resin terrazzo finish in a fraction of the time of traditional materials.
- Keeping things in place while working on the floor is easier said than done. To help out in this area, Tremco Illbruck has launched its TREMCO TF448 High Performance Bonding Tape, which is ideal for securing coving, skirting and other ancillaries.
