Australia’s Foodpro Show Celebrates its 50th Year!

Australia’s world-renowned event for the food and beverage manufacturing industry returns bigger and better than ever to celebrate its 50th year at Sydney’s International Convention Centre from 16-19 July.

Foodpro 2017 will showcase the latest products and innovations in food processing, packaging, science and technology as well as explore trends such as traceability, food safety and hygiene.

Seminars, Stands and Showcases

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect, network and do business with industry professionals as well as hear from the experts themselves. Six zones will guide you through the various steps in the food manufacturing process, including manufacturing, ingredients, food, science and technology, processing equipment, plant equipment, packaging and the new supply chain integrity zone.

As ever foodpro is putting on a variety of informative events, including a well-stocked seminar series. A couple of sessions that we’re particularly excited about are:

  • Food Safety Program Validation by Glenn Pinna of Biotech Laboratories. Glenn will explore the microbiological testing procedures and validation protocols required to comply with food standard regulations.
  • 7 Facts About Listeria You Did Not Know by Louis Petrin of Arrow Scientific. Listeria is a common threat across the food industry and the more you know about this problematic pathogen the better equipped you will be to stop it in its tracks!

A Growing Industry

Over the years, foodpro has significantly contributed to the growth of the food processing, manufacturing and packaging industries as well as strengthening Australia’s global reputation for high safety and quality standards.

With the industry experiencing significant growth over the last five years, the exhibition will be one of the largest to date; drawing in food manufacturers from all over the world, who want to meet trusted suppliers and learn more about the latest equipment to create efficiencies and remain at the forefront of the industry.

Over 400 delegates are expected to attend foodpro’s 50th year, including Flowcrete Australia’s expert team who will showcase the latest trends in hygienic polyurethane resin flooring technology on stand Q42, located on Level 1 of the ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour.
