Last week Flowcrete Mexicana participated in EXPO PACK Mexico, which has long since been considered the premier event for processing and packaging technology in Latin America.
This year, the show turned 31 and to mark the occasion, moved to a new venue, the spacious and modern 205,000 square feet, Expo Bancomer Santa Fe in Mexico City.
The event, which is run by PMMI, saw more than 25,000 buyers representing the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, chemical, electronics and textile industries, come through the doors as well as in excess of 1,000 exhibitors showcasing their latest product technologies.
Flowcrete Mexicana’s attendance at the show formed part of the company’s ongoing commitment to improving market share in the growing Mexican food and beverage as well as industrial sectors.
Flowcrete Mexicana’s Roel Rodriguez and Roberto Ibarra represented the company on the booth, focussing and promoting predominantly the company’s Flowfresh cementitious urethane line as well as its recent HACCP International certified status – which is highly regarded by food and beverage manufacturers looking to demonstrate its commitment to food safety.
The show yielded a record number of opportunities in Mexico, Aruba, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru and Venezuela.
As of 2017, EXPO PACK Mexico will begin to alternate hosting locations between Guadalajara and Mexico City in order to provide better accessibility to those located in western, central and southern regions of Mexico.
