Flowcrete Americas has been involved in a playful flooring project at one of North West Houston’s must-see attractions, Little Beakers.
Little Beakers – the brainchild of Cinttya Morgan, a highly decorated materials chemist – is a real science lab, built for young budding scientists, offering science learning and family fun for children of all ages.
Flowcrete Americas was delighted to be involved in floor renovation works at this local attraction. Here, more than 2,000 sq ft of Flowcrete Americas’ Flowtallics material was installed across the laboratory floor in a decorative shade of Blue Lagoon.
Flowtallics is one of Flowcrete Americas’ most popular materials, installed by experienced craftsmen to deliver a one-of-a-kind floor finish that can never be recreated.
Containing metallic pigments, the polymer floor material is installed seamlessly in-situ using specialist application techniques to create a dramatic swirled pattern across the surface of the floor.
Aside from its decorative appearance, the Flowtallics material is incredibly robust, offering an excellent chemical resistant, slip resistant and stain resistant platform to handle all of the spillages that come hand in hand with the young scientist’s experiments.
