We were delighted to welcome the former England rugby union star Mark Cueto to Flowcrete HQ today, who came by to convert our support for the Sale Sharks into the next rugby season.

Mark Greaves, Flowcrete Group’s Managing Director (and passionate rugby fan) met with Sale Sharks stalwart Mark Cueto to discuss the company’s long-standing sponsorship agreement with the AVIVA Premiership team.

Supporting sport in the local area is an important principle for Mark Greaves, who recently became the chairman for Active Cheshire and was tasked with helping to encourage more people in the county to get into sport.

Teaming up with such a high profile club as the Sharks is a great way to promote local sporting achievements while simultaneously highlighting local business success. The Sharks’ national renown makes it a great platform from which to highlight the growth and triumphs of Cheshire based companies such as Flowcrete.

The sports enthusiasts in our headquarters were excited to greet the local rugby luminary on his visit to the office. Flowcrete Group’s Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator (and incidentally Congleton Rugby Club’s 2015 Player of the Year) David Podmore was especially eager to shake the hand of a personal inspiration. When the camera came out, Mark Greaves, David Podmore and Digital Marketing Coordinator Jamie Baker couldn’t resist a scrum style pose with their guest.

We’re looking forward to partnering with Sale Sharks again and wish them all the best for their next season.
