A brand new and updated version of the award winning Green Floorzone solution will be unveiled at Flowcrete UK’s stand during this year’s Ecobuild exhibition.
The environmentally friendly floor build up has been refreshed and revitalised with new systems that boast superior green credentials and enhanced design possibilities.
Flowcrete UK’s Marketing Manager, Ian Jones, said: “The Green Floorzone was already one of the most energy-saving single source flooring solutions on the market, however this year we’ve upped the stakes yet again!”
The resin flooring specialists have completely overhauled the Green Floorzone with the three elements (underfloor heating, screed and resin finish) having all received a makeover. Flowcrete UK will be proudly displaying these developments on its stand, which will incorporate a life-size, cut-through model allowing visitors to view each system close up and discover how they work in tandem below the floor’s surface.
A new addition to the Floorzone is the environmentally friendly Isocrete Alpha Screed, a self-levelling, pump applied floor screed. This cement free formulation also avoids the harmful side affects that come with producing and using cement.
Visitors to the Flowcrete UK stand will be able to find out about the entire Mondèco Mirrazzo collection. Including the recently launched Mondèco Arctic systems, featuring three new colours, Alaska, Glacier and Polar. These systems provide superior UV light resistance and help large-scale commercial locations to maintain a seamless and attractive white floor finish.
Over 50% of the shimmering decorative aggregates incorporated within a Mondèco Mirrazzo finish are recycled thus minimising the environmental impact of a floor’s installation.
In a fitting twist, the final element of the Green Floorzone, the Isowarm underfloor heating, has literally been turned green! The pipes now match the Isocrete brand and reflect the system’s eco friendly nature, as it is able to deliver energy efficiency savings of up to 30 per cent in comparison to conventional heating systems.
The Green Floorzone has already received a significant amount of industry attention and at Ecobuild 2014 it even caught the eye of British designer, writer and television presenter Kevin McCloud MBE, who subsequently went on to name the Isocrete Green Screeds range as one of his Green Heroes at Grand Designs Live.
