Both productivity and brand awareness have shot through the roof on one desk in a corner of the Flowcrete UK office.
Ian Jones, the Flowcrete UK Marketing Manager, has been bestowed with a branded informational technology peripheral device.
A carbon fibre grey mouse, resplendent with Flowcrete logo, is now a key part of his daily operational activities.
When quizzed on the practical realities of his new office equipment Ian Jones said: “It’s good”. His detailed description followed by saying that the scrolling action was “good”, the right click was “good”, the left click was “good” and that overall it was “good”.
The mouse from Flowcrete Asia has laid dormant for several months after being given away at the 2013 Flowcrete International conference in Penang, Malaysia. At which, curiously enough, Ian Jones was not present. The gift was originally organised by the then Flowcrete International Marketing Manager, and now Flowcrete Americas Managing Director, Dave McNeece, who said: “sharing is caring”.
The device was first gifted to Digital Marketing Coordinator David Podmore, who did not share Ian Jones’ electronic ecstasy when given the mouse. When Ian originally began his Christmas quest for a new device he was originally told “nope”, however he must have been on Santa’s ‘mice’ list this year.
Ian Jones added: “I didn’t just give it a ‘cursory glance’ when it ‘scrolled’ right into my heart.
“I must say, the best laid plans of a Flowcrete mouse and men don’t go awry – as the tracking is really good.”

You guys crack me up… my branded informational technology peripheral device is still in a drawer in my desk. I am now inspired to dredge it up and see if it will change my scrolling action to ‘good’.
