Flowcrete Americas will be attending Greenbuild for the very first time from Oct. 22 to Oct. 23. 2014.

1- Flowcrete Americas cares about our environment and we are therefore proud members of the U.S. Green Building Council. We always endeavor to ensure that our products reduce the amount of packaging waste and non re-usable containers sent to landfills.

2- We have improved on energy consumption and transportation in the last year in an attempt to reduce our carbon footprint and help save the planet.

3- In FY14 over 50% of our total sales was Flowfresh, which is packaged in reusable UN Certified Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs.) The practise of using IBCs enabled us to save at least 100,000 plastic bottles from going to waste, preventing a grand total of 27.5 tons of material being taken to landfills.

4- As part of our environmental crusade we have also made great strides in customer cost improvements, including a cost reduction per unit manufactured and in product handling, storage, and shipping.

5- Being a green conscious flooring company, Flowcrete Americas is committed to a sustainable corporate philosophy and thus we’ve restricted the use of toxic components in our flooring products.
