Visitors to foodpro 2014 were surprised and delighted last week when a superhero swooped into their midst!
Hygiene Boy, the sanitation superman, was showing off his antimicrobial aptitude at Flowcrete Australia’s stand throughout the prestigious exhibition – telling the tale of how he defeated the Masters of Grime.
A mix of local and international food and beverage industry professionals arrived at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for the event, which takes place only once every three years.
Despite the less than perfect Melbourne weather (with cold, rain and wind also making an appearance over the four days), all sources are pointing to this year’s foodpro as having had a record number of attendees.
This proved that the decision by the show’s organisers, Diversified Communications Australia, to move the exhibition to Melbourne for 2014 was a stroke of genius. All the latest technology and innovations were on display from over 300 exhibitors, making it officially the largest foodpro to date!
Delegates came from across a wide variety of sectors and backgrounds, including dairy, meat, fish, catering, packaging, construction, ingredients and machinery. Flowcrete Australia (and of course Hygiene Boy) was in a prime position to meet all the visitors within the Science & Technology sector of the exhibition.
