Flowfresh Antimicrobial Flooring – How does it work?

The Polygiene® silver-ions are homogeneously distributed throughout the floor and travel to the surface.  The cell membrane of the bacteria on the surface of the floor is penetrated by the silver-ions and destroyed.

This unique technology reduces the build up of surface bacteria by up to 99.9% and actively kills common bacterium on contact including E-coli, Salmonella Typhi, MRSA, Listeria Weshimen and Staphylococcus Aureus.  Polygiene® also works to inhibit the growth of yeast and mould on the surface of the floor.

The diagram below demonstrates the effectiveness of Flowfresh to eliminate bacteria compared to alternative flooring solutions.
