Next week is Ecobuild 2014 – the world’s leading event for sustainable design, construction, energy and the built environment.
And this year promises to be a fantastic exhibition! Thousands of industry professionals will descend on the ExCel centre in London to talk about sustainability issues and will be joined by high profile speakers such as Kevin McCloud and Babita Sharma. Visitors will also be able to attend a wide variety of interesting, informative and insightful events such as the BRE awards, the Regeneration Film Festival and Climate Week.
Luckily for us Flowcrete UK is going to be right in the middle of it all! Visitors to Ecobuild will be able to find us at stand N340, where we’ll be eagerly showcasing our innovative GREEN Floorzone solution.
The GREEN Floorzone is a revolutionary concept in the world of energy-saving floors. It allows new-build or refurbishment projects to obtain every element of the floor from a single source and with a single warranty, safe in the knowledge that each component has been manufactured, transported and installed in as environmentally friendly a manner as possible.
A significant environmental advantage of the GREEN Floorzone stems from the fact that the Isocrete Floor Screeds included in the product range have been given a green makeover so that they are free from Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC).
A model of this package will be on show at our stand, and the Flowcrete UK team will be able to talk through the benefits that can be achieved from each part of the system, such as the reliable screed, efficient underfloor heating, noise killing acoustic foam and attractive floor finish.
Flowcrete’s resident doctor for all things flooring, Dr Flowcrete, will also be attending Ecobuild to answer any questions that visitors might have about keeping their floors healthy. If you’ve got a concern or a query simply head over to the Flowcrete UK stand for a chat.
If you’re heading along to Ecobuild 2014 tell us what you’re most looking forward to about the event in the comments below.
Also keep an eye on the blog next week for Flowcrete’s Ecobuild Exploits – Part 2, in which we’ll tell you all about who we met and what we learnt (with lots of great photos from the event as well).
