As we have reached the end of the year we wanted to share with you some of our favourite projects from 2013.
This list is not an assessment of the year’s largest projects or even those that took place in the most iconic landmarks or striking buildings but the most liked by our team, who staring at these pictures everyday get to know these installations intimately.
Enjoy this recap of our most liked in 2013 and we shall look forward to what floor design innovations 2014 will bring us.
Star Vista Mall, Singapore
Rarely does a multi-storey car park inspire creative design; however the striking Star Vista Mall in Singapore seems to break from the mould.
Incorporating a vast range of vibrantly pigmented floor coating systems used to highlight navigational and instructional traffic flow markings as well as designate specialist parking bays for disabled, single female and electronic vehicle owners, the facility is awash with colour.
Flowcrete Asia has provided over 40,000 square metres of its traffic deck coating material Deckcoat EP, to line the multi-storey car parking structure over an installation spanning four months.

IDdesign, Middle East
IDdesign is one of the leading furniture retail franchise brands in the world with a colourful 40 year history specialising in innovative furniture and home decoration.
So it came as no surprise when the award-winning luxurious living lifestyle brand opened the doors to its latest showroom, located in one of Abu Dhabi’s most established shopping destinations, the Al Wahda Mall in 2013.
IDdesign wanted a high performance, highly decorative floor finish that would serve as the perfect platform from which to display it’s latest pieces in the company’s new eco-friendly showroom.
Flowcrete Middle East was able to satisfy client requirements, using a combination of two of its seamless resin systems. Flowshield SL, a self-levelling epoxy resin, in conjunction with the decorative floor topping Peran STB to create a series of contrasting inserts positioned at regular intervals across the shop floor.

Pucci, China
The artistic flooring installation at fashion house, Emilio Pucci’s new flagship boutique in Shanghai is Flowcrete’s materials at their best.
The new 130 square metre store takes pride of place in the city’s exclusive Citric Square Mall, which is located at the intersection between Nanjing West and Changde Road.
Made famous for its eccentric and vibrantly coloured geometric prints, the brand has taken inspiration for the interior of the boutique from Pucci’s native Florence, offering Shanghai’s fashion glitterati a flavour of the Mediterranean.
Using Flowcrete China’s epoxy terrazzo material, the intricate flooring pattern features an angular geometric design in a contrasting palette of dove grey and magnolia.
