RPM Performance Coatings Group Welcomes New Brand to the Family
Flowcrete’s parent company and major construction conglomerate, RPM, has announced a new addition to its Performance Coatings Group division – Expanko Inc.
Expanko, which is headquartered in Pennsylvania and operates a manufacturing plant out of Texas, is the brand behind a range of terrazzo as well as cork, rubber and rubber/cork floor tiles for use in education, healthcare, hospitality and entertainment venues.
Speaking as the news was unveiled, RPM Chairman and CEO Frank C. Sullivan claimed, “Expanko is a great fit with other PCG flooring lines and should benefit from greatly enhanced marketing and distribution opportunities that will further it’s reach beyond its traditional US East Coast strength”
“Expanko will operate as a stand-alone business within PCG and will continue to be led by one of its two owners, Randy Gillespie and his current management team”.

Will be interested to see their literature concerning 1) black recycled crumb rubber matting and 2) the contact adhesive recommended for installing it as a sports floor on cement based substrates. Could not find in product info.
